External wall & facade mouldings
External mouldings are decorative architectural profiles fitted to the outside of a building. External wall mouldings and external house mouldings add proportion, depth and character to facades and openings—framing windows and doors, defining storeys, or finishing rooflines.
For rendered elevations, they create the look of traditional cement mouldings without pretending to be timber. Kayvic’s outdoor range is made from lightweight EPS with a Hyper Polymer Coating, keeping it lighter and practical to handle.
Unlike interior plaster cornice, external mouldings need to cope with rain, sunlight and knocks during service. These weatherproof profiles suit careful period-property renovation, new homes and commercial facades that need a more considered architectural finish.
Material system
A purpose-made combination for lightweight exterior mouldings that are practical to handle and built for exposed elevations.
Kayvic external mouldings are made from lightweight polystyrene coated with a Hyper Polymer Coating. The system gives the look of traditional cement mouldings but is lighter, stronger and more durable.
The coating is waterproof, UV-resistant and impact-resistant, making these weatherproof exterior mouldings well suited to changing UK conditions. Once installed and finished, they can be painted with suitable standard exterior paints.
