Kayvic banding and string course mouldings are lightweight EPS profiles with a Hyper Polymer coating, made in Ammanford. Seven standard profiles or bespoke, with a 15-year guarantee on the coating and pallet delivery to the UK and Ireland.

Both are horizontal mouldings run across a facade, often at floor level or linking windows. Plain, flat profiles are usually called banding; shaped ones, string courses.

No ready-made corner pieces. Corners are cut on site, so banding fits any angle.
Fixing
OB1 or CT1 adhesive, never solvent-based (solvents attack polystyrene), onto render, brickwork, blockwork or external wall insulation (EWI). Not timber. Surface clean, dry and dust-free. Fit it yourself or ask your builder.
Painting, delivery, guarantee, price
Supplied in buff sandstone for masonry paint; repair kit available. Pallet delivery to the UK and Ireland, about 4 weeks' lead time, no minimum order, free samples. 15-year guarantee on the coating. Prices on application.
